Analisis Dan Perancangan Kamus Bahasa Indonesia – Bahasa Jawa Banten Berbasis Web

Abstract

Banten Javanese is a unique dialect spoken by the people of Banten. However, the lack of documentation and digital reference sources poses a challenge to preserving this language. This study aims to analyze and design a web-based Indonesian–Banten Javanese dictionary as a medium for learning and preserving the regional language. The research methodology includes needs analysis, system design, and web-based implementation. The findings indicate that this digital dictionary effectively assists users in translating words with a fast search feature and a user-friendly interface. Moreover, the web-based implementation enables broader access for the general public and academics. With this dictionary, Banten Javanese is expected to be more accessible for learning and remain preserved in the digital era.
