Web Blog dan YouTube sebagai Solusi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh di Program Studi Teknik Informatika: Tantangan dan Peluang

Abstract

Distance learning has become a primary solution in supporting educational flexibility, especially in the Informatics Engineering Study Program. Web Blogs and YouTube are two digital platforms that play a crucial role in delivering course materials effectively. However, the utilization of these media still faces various challenges, such as limited internet access, digital literacy skills of lecturers and students, and variations in content quality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Web Blogs and YouTube in enhancing students' understanding, identify the challenges faced, and explore opportunities for optimization. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, data were collected through interviews and observations of Informatics Engineering students. The results indicate that the combination of Web Blogs and YouTube significantly improves students' comprehension, despite the presence of technical and pedagogical barriers.
