Abstract

Protocol (TCP) in the development of small-scale intranet networks. The primary focus lies in testing network performance before and after TCP integration, as well as analyzing the stability and efficiency of data communication. The methodology involves designing the network topology, configuring TCP parameters, and conducting performance tests by measuring latency, packet loss, and throughput. The research findings indicate that TCP implementation significantly improves network stability, resulting in more consistent performance and lower transmission errors. TCP's reliability in managing data flow through mechanisms such as handshaking, error-checking, and flow control is a key factor in its success. The study also identifies challenges such as hardware limitations and the need for user training; however, the overall approach can be replicated in other small institutions with minimal adjustments. Recommendations include integrating TCP with security protocols such as SSL/TLS to enhance network integrity, as well as expanding future studies to hybrid and IoT-based network environments.
